It takes nothing away from a human to be kind to an animal.

Who we are and our story

A professional animal caregiver trainer, with extensive practical knowledge, and a passionate scientist, a perfect combination, a union between two experts who firmly believe that with passion, respect and empathy one can suitably approach, change and improve the lives of animals in need.

Nuria Maldonado Torrecabota

As an environmental scientist, Nuria put her heart and soul into species conservation and animal protection, and believes in education as the key to success in conservation. Beside her research tasks for the Max Planck Institute of Evolutionary Anthropology, Germany, including non-invasive species conservation studies, she contributes to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of injured and orphaned wild animals. As a consultant for internationally renowned conservation- and animal welfare organisations, as well as numerous zoological institutions, she also collaborates with governmental authorities by providing in-depth knowledge and support to combat illegal wildlife trafficking.
